History
The villa, the diva,
the legend
Villa Garbo is much more than a residence, it is a place full of history, where elegance and discretion are intertwined for generations.
A hut of the Sweet Life
Greta Garbo chose this Villa as a retreat away from the high life of Hollywood, attracted by its authentic elegance and timeless atmosphere.
In the ’60s, the Villa, then the home of the famous nutritionist Gayelord Hauser, was home to artists and intellectuals international as Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams, became a symbol of charm and privacy: a cultural salon, and a private in the heart of the Mediterranean.
Today
Today, Villa Garbo still retains its charm, welcoming guests from all over the world in an environment that combines memory, comfort and beauty.
A place to live slowly, thought for exclusive vacations and private events.

“To love means to learn a song in their heart, and cantargliele when they forget.”
